Have you heard about it? If you are lucky enough to live in Washington or New York, you will be able to use it! The service is a product of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. Their site is listed below to learn more about them.

More information is available at the state DMV web sites. This service will soon be coming to the states of Vermont, Arizona and Michigan. Each state will have control of the price and how long it is valid.

This license is a driver’s license that can be used as a cross-border travel document to enter the USA.  You can use it by land and sea. It would not be good on flights within the designated countries. You will still need a passport for air travel. Here are the sites for information for the states that are now offering it.
